Maestro Lefkowitz began his studies at the
age of seven, made his debut with a symphony when he was twelve,
and at seventeen was admited to the Moscow Conservatory to
the class of the legendary Leonid Kogan. His studies continued
with such renowned master performers as Nathan Milstien, Mischa

of string musicians, providing master classes for public high

His talent and musical energy has inspired many young musicians
to continue.
The Problem:
Despite the mandate public education has
to provide each student with a strong foundation, educatros
often find themselves frustrated by financial contraints whch
are restrictive to even the rudementary subjects. Handicapped
by a cash-strapped budget, school districts painfully music
first even though so many students stand to lose out.
The Solution:
We want to create for you district a string
education program that fits the need of each individual school.
Our skilled faculty and staff will work with your schools'
music directors to strengthen and enhance existing string
programs. Should any individual program in place, we would
work directly with the needs of each student body. Our staff
of skilled and experienced teachers have been screened and
selected by Mr.Lefkowitz himself. All programs we conduct
are supervised directly by Maestro Lefkowitz.
What We Do:
- Our focus is on developing young talent and we specialize in working with
student of all skill levels.
- We work directly with any existing music program your district may have,
enhancing not only the skill level of its young musicians but also giving
it the prestige of the Lefkowitz name.
- We are flexible and divise a plan to work with your district to meet your needs.
We recognise that one size does not fit all.
- We frequently bring visiting artists from orchestras and universities to share
thier expierence with students.
- We students who participate will gain an appreciation
of music and will be better able to express themselves musically.
Funding:
our programs are funded privately by participating students and we reinvest a portion
of our fees to support other extracurricular programs in your district. Fees usually
range from $50-$100/mo per student. Scholorships are provided on a need basis.
